Alix is a senior undergraduate at Salve Regina University, pursuing degrees in history and film. Additionally, she completed an intensive course in business and filmmaking at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts under the guidance of Professor Kim Sherman (p.g.a.) and a semester abroad in London. She began her work in the nonprofit space at the age of fourteen with INARA and War Child, and caught the storytelling "bug" since then.
Alix’s passion for subjects such as women's issues, the climate crisis, and immigration stories prioritizes diverse, ethical, and equitable reporting and multimedia spaces. She is a freelancer for Ocean State Stories and presented at a university-led conference. She has attended virtual events with Sundance Collab and the College Student Summit at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation. She is a volunteer for newportFILM. She is fluent in English and French; her interests include media management, multimedia production, and entertainment law.
In December 2025, Alix presented her senior thesis capstone - “Racing for Recognition: The Tennessee State Tigerbelles and the Cold War Politics of Representation at the 1960 Rome Olympics.
She goes to school in Newport, Rhode Island, but calls California and France home!
